A wildfire broke out on Sunday afternoon in Haganes, Øygarden, Vestland, prompting an urgent response from local fire services.
The blaze, which spread through grass and heather, posed a potential threat to nearby cabins, though authorities later confirmed no immediate danger to homes.
Fire crews quickly arrived and began extinguishing the flames, which were moving westward.
Residents were urged to make way for emergency vehicles on the narrow roads.
This incident follows a weekend fire warning issued by the Directorate for Civil Protection (DSB), highlighting a heightened risk of wildfires across parts of Norway.
Extra resources, including a helicopter in Skien, were placed on standby as multiple grass and forest fires were reported earlier in the week.
