A fire broke out in a house in Sokndal, Rogaland, on Sunday evening, prompting emergency services to respond swiftly.

The blaze, which started in the third floor, caused significant damage to that part of the house, while the rest remained intact.

Due to strong winds, there was a risk of the fire spreading to nearby homes, leading to the evacuation of six people from a neighboring property.

Fortunately, no one was inside the burning house, and firefighters managed to bring the fire under control, with the flames nearly extinguished by midnight.

The evacuees have since returned to their homes.

The cause of the fire remains unknown, and authorities are continuing their investigation.
