A severe fire broke out in a multi-family building in Øvre Eiker on Monday evening, leading to the evacuation of residents and injuries to three individuals.
Emergency services responded promptly to the scene after an automatic fire alarm was triggered.
Despite their efforts, the fire remains uncontrolled, with four out of the seven housing units likely to be completely destroyed.
Two people have been taken to a local clinic, and one has been hospitalized with unknown injuries.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and authorities are working to ensure all residents are accounted for.
The local municipality has activated a crisis team to assist those displaced by the fire.
