A massive fire broke out on a farm in Hegra, Stjørdal, on Wednesday evening, leading to the evacuation of five people and a dog.
The blaze, which engulfed two barns and other farm buildings, posed a significant risk of spreading to nearby homes.
Firefighters from multiple stations worked tirelessly to contain the flames, successfully saving two residential houses on the property.
Tragically, the barn and its nine hens were lost.
Emergency teams remained on-site overnight for extinguishing and damage control.
The E14 highway, initially closed due to falling debris, has since reopened.
Evacuated residents are being supported by crisis teams and have been provided temporary accommodation.
