A devastating fire broke out late Sunday night in a farm building in Levanger, resulting in the loss of many animals.
Emergency services were alerted at 10:42 PM, and firefighters managed to prevent the fire from spreading to other structures.
Approximately 450 cows were in the barn when the fire started, but the exact number of animals lost remains unclear.
A veterinarian and emergency slaughter team are on-site to assess the situation, while evacuated animals have been moved to nearby barns.
The fire, which was first noticed by a neighbor, was intense, but favorable wind conditions helped contain it.
Efforts continue to save the remaining farm buildings.
