A brush fire broke out near Dyreparken in Kristiansand on Friday, burning approximately 150 square meters of terrain.
Initially, there were concerns about the fire spreading to nearby cabins, but authorities quickly brought it under control.
No evacuations were necessary, and no injuries or damage to buildings were reported.
The fire, which started around 5 PM, was extinguished within an hour.
Emergency services remain on-site to monitor for any flare-ups.
The dry conditions in the region have heightened the risk of grass and brush fires, prompting increased forest fire preparedness.
