A Widerøe flight from Bergen to Molde faced severe turbulence on Friday evening, forcing it to return to Bergen.

Two individuals, a passenger and a crew member, sustained minor injuries during the incident.

Passengers reported a sudden drop in altitude, causing some to hit their heads on overhead compartments.

Emergency personnel attended to the injured upon landing, and all 60 passengers were accommodated in hotels overnight.

The flight is under investigation by local authorities, and a replacement flight is scheduled for Saturday.

Widerøe has assured passengers of their safety and provided a debriefing session to address concerns.
