A Widerøe flight en route from Bergen to Trondheim experienced a landing gear issue, prompting an emergency alert.
The aircraft circled over Trondheim Airport Værnes for about an hour to burn off fuel before making a safe landing.
All emergency services were on standby, and the nearby E6 highway was temporarily closed as a precaution.
Communication Manager Catharina Solli stated that standard emergency procedures were followed, and the plane will undergo a technical inspection to determine the cause of the issue.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and passengers are being debriefed by health services.
