Norway's emergency numbers, 110, 112, and 113, were unexpectedly out of service for about 45 minutes during the early hours of Friday.
The issue, which occurred around 1:43 AM and was resolved by 2:26 AM, was first reported by the Agder police district.
The National Communications Authority (Nkom) has announced an investigation into the incident, as the disruption affected the ability to reach police, fire, and health services.
The fault was traced back to Telenor, though the exact cause remains unknown.
This outage has raised concerns about the reliability of emergency communication systems in the country.
