A significant power outage affected over 40,000 customers in Oslo, Asker, and Bærum on Tuesday evening.
The blackout, which began around 10:15 PM, was due to a regional network fault, as reported by the electricity provider Elvia.
Despite the initial uncertainty about the duration of the outage, power was restored to most households within half an hour.
However, some business customers are still experiencing disruptions.
The outage also led to streetlights going out in several areas, including Lilleaker, leaving parts of the city in darkness.
Elvia is continuing to investigate the cause of the high-voltage fault that led to the widespread power loss.
