Norway has taken a significant step towards simplifying public transportation with the launch of the Entur app, which now allows travelers to purchase tickets for all public transport across the country in one place.
As of November 18, users can buy single and period tickets for buses, trains, trams, ferries, and even scooters and city bikes, making it easier to travel sustainably.
The app, developed by the state-owned technology company Entur, aims to encourage more people to choose public transport by offering a seamless ticketing experience without additional costs.
While the app already includes major train operators like Vy, SJ, and Go-Ahead, Entur is working to bring more commercial bus companies on board.
This initiative supports Norway's goal of reducing carbon emissions by promoting greener travel options.
