A significant disruption on the Bergensbanen railway line has affected around 900 passengers due to a signal failure between Hønefoss and Flå.
The issue, caused by a broken mast holding the overhead line, has led to the closure of the track until at least 5 PM.
Passengers traveling between Oslo and Bergen are experiencing substantial delays, with many being transported by buses and maxitaxis to continue their journey.
Vy, the train operator, has expressed regret over the inconvenience, while Bane Nor, responsible for the railway infrastructure, is working on repairs.
Passengers are entitled to refunds if delays exceed an hour.
The situation has left many, including tourists, frustrated as they miss connections and planned events.
