Kunstsilo, the new art museum in Kristiansand, Norway, has been named one of the 100 best places to visit in the world by Time Magazine.

Opened in May 2024, the museum has already attracted over 77,000 visitors in just three months.

Reidar Fuglestad, the museum's director, expressed pride in the recognition, noting that it reflects a shift in local opinion about the museum.

Travel experts believe this accolade could position Kristiansand as a significant art destination, appealing particularly to American tourists who are keen on cultural experiences.

Nicolai Tangen, a key supporter of the museum, also celebrated the honor, emphasizing its potential to draw more visitors to the region.

The recognition is seen as a validation of the hard work put into making Kunstsilo a prominent cultural site.
