Severe weather has caused significant disruptions across Norway, with several mountain passes closed due to heavy snow and strong winds.
In the south, roads like Fylkesvei 705 Stugudalen – Brekken and Fylkesvei 27 over Venabygdsfjellet remain shut, with some closures expected to last for days.
Meanwhile, in Northern Norway, polar low-pressure systems have led to challenging driving conditions, with many roads under convoy control or completely closed.
E69 Skarsvåg – Nordkapp and parts of Europavei 10 over Bjørnfjell are among the affected routes.
Authorities have also issued high avalanche warnings in areas like Tromsø and Lyngen, urging people to avoid risky terrains.
The weather has disrupted air travel, with flights to and from Tromsø heavily impacted.
While conditions are improving, drivers are advised to stay cautious and check updates before traveling.
