Severe weather conditions have led to significant disruptions in Northern Norway, with several ferry and express boat services canceled due to strong winds.
The ferry routes between Svensby and Breivikeidet, as well as Bellvik and Vengsøy, have been suspended, impacting local travel.
Additionally, the Sandnessund and Tjeldsund bridges have been intermittently closed, yet some drivers continue to cross despite warnings.
Authorities remind the public that ignoring closure signals is illegal.
The Meteorological Institute has issued a yellow warning for strong winds, which are expected to persist in the northern regions until Saturday.
Residents are advised to secure their properties and avoid unnecessary travel.
