A successful rescue operation unfolded in Bømlo's Børøyfjorden after a recreational boat was reported missing.

The search, led by the Main Rescue Center South Norway, was initiated following a family report about a man who did not return from a fishing trip.

The operation involved a rescue helicopter, two rescue vessels, an ambulance boat, and a nearby civilian boat.

By 14:03, the rescue vessel "Horn Rescue" confirmed the boat and the individual were found, concluding the search.
