A serious boating accident occurred off the coast of Tvedestrand, Norway, leading to a major rescue operation.
The Hovedredningssentralen (HRS) reported that a boat was found at a depth of 10 meters, and wreckage has been discovered in the water.
One person has been confirmed dead, while two others have been accounted for; one sustained minor injuries and the other is unharmed.
The incident was first reported around 3:30 AM, when a person who had been in the water managed to reach land and alert authorities about a missing individual.
Rescue teams, including divers and helicopters, are actively searching the area.
The situation remains serious as officials work to understand the circumstances surrounding the accident.
