A man was rescued after a significant search operation in Trondheim, Norway, following a swimming incident in the harbor area.
The alarm was raised at 1:43 AM when one of two friends who attempted to swim across the harbor failed to reach the other side.
Emergency services, including police, firefighters, and volunteers from the Red Cross, quickly mobilized to search for the missing swimmer.
Divers and drones were deployed in the search efforts.
After several hours, the man was found alive at 5:16 AM, lying in a boat, albeit cold.
He is currently receiving medical attention, and the rescue team expressed relief at the successful outcome of the operation.
