A dramatic rescue operation unfolded in Indre Fosen, Trøndelag, after a car plunged into the sea on Sunday evening.
Emergency services, including divers and a rescue helicopter, were dispatched to the scene following reports from local residents.
The vehicle was found submerged 8-10 meters from the quay at a depth of 6-7 meters.
Divers discovered one critically injured person inside the car, who was swiftly airlifted to St.
Olavs Hospital.
Authorities have confirmed that no other individuals were in the vehicle.
The incident, which occurred in an industrial area, remains under investigation as the car is retrieved from the water.
