Vestland's political influence in Norway's government has significantly diminished as three ministers from the region, all from the Centre Party, exit the Støre administration.
Despite this, no new representatives from Vestland have been appointed, leaving the region without a strong voice in the cabinet.
Meanwhile, Eastern Norway, particularly Oslo, has gained prominence, with key positions like the Prime Minister, Finance Minister, and Foreign Minister now held by individuals from the capital.
Jens Stoltenberg, a notable figure, has been named Finance Minister, further solidifying Oslo's dominance.
While some argue that geographic representation is less critical than policy, others in Vestland express disappointment over the lack of regional balance in the new government.
