Two separate traffic accidents on the E18 highway have caused significant disruptions.

The first incident occurred near Sandvika, involving a collision between a van and a car.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported, but the accident brought traffic to a standstill as the left and middle lanes were blocked.

Efforts are underway to clear the scene and ease the congestion.

In a separate incident near Asker, a single-vehicle accident resulted in substantial material damage.

A car crashed into the guardrail and ended up in a ditch.

The driver, a woman in her 20s, was taken to Bærum Hospital for a check-up but did not sustain serious injuries.

Both accidents have contributed to traffic delays on the E18.
