As temperatures finally drop, ski resorts across Norway are eagerly preparing for the winter season.
Major resorts like Kvitfjell, Hafjell, and Geilo are set to open their slopes by the end of November, thanks to the activation of snow cannons.
Despite a delayed start, optimism is high as cold weather sets in, allowing for snow production to begin in earnest.
Meanwhile, Hovden Alpinsenter has already started snow production, aiming for a December 6 opening, promising a long season extending to Easter.
Further south, Sandrip in Vennesla awaits colder temperatures to kick off their snowmaking efforts.
The delayed openings have financial implications, but the resorts are hopeful for a successful season as the weather turns favorable.
