A serious head-on collision occurred on County Road 450 near the Hunnedalsveien-Seldalsveien intersection in Oltedal, Gjesdal municipality, on Sunday afternoon.

Five individuals were involved in the accident, with one person airlifted to Stavanger University Hospital due to severe injuries.

The other four sustained minor injuries and were taken to a local clinic by ambulance.

Both lanes were temporarily closed, but manual traffic control was implemented to assist with vehicle recovery.

Police have completed their on-site investigation, and the road was reopened for traffic by 18:19. The cause of the accident remains unclear, though it appears one vehicle crossed into the opposite lane, resulting in significant damage to the vehicles involved.
