A serious traffic accident occurred on Sunday afternoon on Highway 4 at Gjelleråsen in Nittedal, involving two cars and four individuals.

The collision happened in a roundabout when one vehicle, traveling at high speed from a tunnel, lost control and hit another car.

All four individuals involved are reported to be seriously injured.

The drivers of both vehicles have been transported to Akershus University Hospital, while the two passengers have been taken to Ullevål Hospital.

The accident caused significant material damage to both cars and led to traffic disruptions in the area.

The road has since been reopened, but the incident highlights the dangers of high-speed driving in complex traffic situations.
