Renowned Norwegian actress Henny Elisabeth Moan has passed away at the age of 88, as confirmed by her family.
Moan, celebrated for her fearless dedication to the arts, left a significant mark on Norwegian theater and film.
She was best known for her roles in the films "Ni liv" and "De dødes tjern," and for her performances at the Nationaltheatret and Fjernsynsteatret.
Her son, Sole Christian Paus, described her as a bohemian spirit who always chose her own path.
Moan was married to poet André Bjerke and later partnered with singer Ole Paus, with whom she had two children.
Her contributions to the arts were recognized with the Amanda Honorary Award in 2010 and the St.
Olavs Order in 2020.
