A heated nomination meeting for the Høyre party in Møre og Romsdal has resulted in a parliamentary election list that excludes any candidates from Molde.
The meeting, held in Molde, saw intense competition for the top spots, with Monica Molvær from Ålesund unanimously chosen as the top candidate.
However, the atmosphere turned tense as Carl-Henrik Moltumyr and Anita Oterhals Eide secured the second and third positions, respectively, leaving Molde's candidates out.
Ingeborg Forseth from Molde withdrew her candidacy for the fourth spot, which went to Henning Torset from Aure.
Despite being offered the fifth position, Molde Høyre declined, leading to a list without Molde representation.
Molde's mayor, Trygve Grydeland, expressed disappointment, emphasizing the need for Molde's voter base to have a stronger voice in the party.
