The Christian Democratic Party (KrF) in Norway is undergoing significant leadership changes as it prepares for the upcoming parliamentary elections.
In Agder, Jorunn Gleditsch Lossius has emerged as a favorite for the top spot on the KrF list, with strong support from local branches.
Meanwhile, the Agder KrF county board has unanimously proposed Kjell Ingolf Ropstad as a candidate for the party's leadership, with Lossius and Jørgen Kristiansen suggested as deputy leaders.
This comes amid a leadership vacuum following Olaug Bollestad's resignation and acting leader Dag Inge Ulstein's decision not to seek a permanent role.
The party is set to elect a new leader at an extraordinary national meeting in January.
Despite the challenges, there is optimism within the party, particularly in Agder, where leaders believe they have strong candidates to lead KrF forward.
