Several traffic accidents occurred in western Norway on Saturday evening due to extremely icy roads.
In Alver, a car slid into a river, but the driver managed to escape with minor discomfort.
Two other accidents were reported in Modalen and Osterøy, all linked to the treacherous conditions.
Emergency services have issued warnings about the dangerously slippery roads, urging drivers to adjust their speed and drive cautiously.
Strøbiler (grit trucks) are actively working to improve road safety, but freezing rain continues to create hazardous conditions.
Authorities emphasize the importance of vigilance while driving in these areas.
