A Hercules aircraft experienced a tire puncture at Oslo Airport Gardermoen, leading to the temporary closure of one of the two runways.
Fortunately, there were no injuries or damage to personnel or equipment, according to military spokesperson Aleksander Engborg Hage.
The incident occurred around 3 PM, and while the western runway is closed, smaller aircraft can still use the eastern runway.
Avinor, the airport operator, has reported minor delays for both departures and arrivals due to reduced capacity.
Travelers are advised to check for updates as the situation develops.
