Train services on the Østfoldbanen and Follobanen lines were disrupted early Saturday morning following a fatal incident at Ski station.

A person was struck and killed by a train, leading to the closure of tracks and the station.

Emergency services and police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.

While tracks one and two have since reopened, it remains unclear how long the disruption will last.

Bane Nor, the railway operator, has apologized for the inconvenience caused to passengers.

The incident has affected both the eastern and western lines of Østfoldbanen, as well as Follobanen services.
