In the early hours of Sunday, a dramatic police chase unfolded in Arendal, Norway, after officers attempted to stop a vehicle suspected of being driven under the influence.

The pursuit took an unexpected turn when three police cars punctured their tires on caltrops, known locally as "spanske ryttere," scattered on the road.
