In a disturbing repeat incident, 19 gravestones at Kolbotn Cemetery in Akershus have been toppled for the second time in just a few weeks.

The same gravestones were previously vandalized in August, prompting outrage from the local community.

Police have identified a suspect, a man in his 50s, who reportedly has a connection to one of the graves.

The motive behind this act remains unclear, but the pattern of the vandalism suggests a deliberate act.

Churchwarden Øystein Paulsen expressed his dismay, emphasizing the emotional toll on the families affected and the financial burden of restoring the gravestones.
