A dramatic truck fire on the E6 near Mosseporten caused major traffic disruptions on Tuesday morning.

The fire, which engulfed a semi-truck carrying small amounts of ethanol, was first spotted by a police patrol.

Emergency services quickly arrived at the scene and managed to control the flames.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

The incident led to the closure of the E6 in both directions, creating long traffic queues.

While the southbound lanes have reopened, northbound traffic is being rerouted through Mosseporten.
