In the early hours of Sunday, a bus caught fire on the E6 highway at Mortensrud in Oslo, leading to a temporary closure of the road.
The incident occurred around 1:14 AM, with the bus becoming fully engulfed in flames.
Fortunately, there were no passengers on board, and the driver managed to evacuate safely.
Emergency services quickly responded, extinguishing the fire by 1:38 AM, although smoke lingered in the area.
The southbound lanes of the E6 were closed for several hours, causing traffic disruptions, but were reopened by 5 AM after cleanup operations.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, with the bus nearly completely burned out.
