A violent incident in Sandefjord has led to the detention of a 17-year-old boy for two weeks.
The teenager, who denies the charges, is accused of assaulting a man in his 40s, who was hospitalized with head injuries but is not critically hurt.
The altercation occurred after the man reportedly asked a group of youths to quiet down.
Two other 17-year-olds, a boy and a girl, are also charged but have been released after questioning.
A woman who attempted to intervene was also assaulted and treated at a local clinic.
The police are investigating the incident further, and the detained teenager's lawyer is considering appealing the detention.
