A 17-year-old boy has been charged with participating in the terrorist organization Islamic State (IS) through online activities.
He was arrested in Trøndelag and is set to appear in Oslo District Court for a custody hearing.
The charge falls under penal code section 136a, which carries a maximum sentence of six years.
The boy, who resides in Eastern Norway, denies the charges.
His lawyer, Arve Opdahl, states that the boy is coping well despite the situation.
The court proceedings are being held behind closed doors due to the boy's age and the risk of evidence tampering.
