A significant snowstorm is set to hit the Oslo area, with the Meteorological Institute issuing a yellow warning for snow starting Thursday afternoon.
The storm is expected to bring up to 5 cm of snow in lowland areas, transitioning to rain or sleet overnight.
Higher elevations could see 10-15 cm of snow.
The warning covers parts of Buskerud, Oslo, and Akershus, with the heaviest precipitation expected between 10 PM Thursday and 5 AM Friday.
Commuters are advised to allow extra travel time Friday morning due to potentially hazardous road conditions.
The combination of snow and cold temperatures could lead to challenging driving conditions, especially in higher areas like E18 and E6.
