Search for Missing Plane Intensifies

A small plane carrying two experienced pilots, Tore Iversrud Marthinsen (61) and Ivar Harald Henriksen (74), went missing over Vinddalsvatnet in Bjørnafjorden, Norway, on April 1. The aircraft, designed for aerobatics, sent a "mayday" signal before disappearing.

Authorities believe the pilots attempted a controlled water landing after reporting engine trouble.

Despite extensive searches using drones, underwater robots, and sonar, no trace of the plane or its occupants has been found.

The lake's depth and lack of a black box complicate the search.

The aviation community mourns the loss of two respected figures, as investigations continue.
