A skier was injured near Fjellheisen in Tromsø, prompting a rescue operation by Norsk Folkehjelp and a rescue helicopter.
Initially, adverse weather conditions prevented the helicopter from reaching the area.
However, a break in the weather allowed the helicopter to locate and airlift the skier to the University Hospital of Northern Norway.
The skier, who was with two others, sustained non-life-threatening injuries while skiing near Tromsdalen.
The incident occurred approximately 400 meters from Fjellstua, in an area known as Appelsinhaugen.
The rescue operation was successfully completed, ensuring the skier received necessary medical attention.
