In a significant development in the case of missing Stian Hole, police in Nordland have decided to retrieve a mysterious freezer found at a depth of 250 meters in the sea near Hamarøy.
The freezer, discovered in April by a remotely operated vehicle linked to an aquaculture company, has drawn police interest due to its proximity to the last known location of Hole, who disappeared last summer.
Despite no direct evidence linking the freezer to Hole's disappearance, its presence in the same municipality has prompted further investigation.
Police have not yet determined why the freezer is on the seabed or what it contains, but they plan to raise it this Thursday.
The operation will be conducted with the help of a hired company equipped for such tasks.
This move is part of the ongoing efforts to resolve the mystery surrounding Hole's disappearance and provide answers to his family.
