In Bergen, Norway, police have reopened an assault case involving 25-year-old Hamse Ali, who was attacked by six men in Nygårdsparken.
The incident, which occurred on September 22, involved severe violence and racial slurs directed at Ali.
Initially closed due to insufficient evidence, the case gained renewed attention following media coverage and public outcry.
GC Rieber Eiendom has offered video surveillance to aid the investigation, although footage retention is limited.
Ali, who suffered a concussion, a broken nose, and lost teeth, has received overwhelming support from his football club and community, raising over 230,000 kroner for his medical expenses.
A torchlight procession is planned to show solidarity and demand justice.
