A road rage incident in Oslo has captured public attention after a video showing a confrontation between a motorist and a cyclist went viral.

The altercation occurred on Mosseveien, where the motorist allegedly attacked the cyclist after claiming the cyclist damaged his car's side mirror.

The video, filmed by a passing truck driver, shows the motorist stopping his car in the bike lane, physically assaulting the cyclist, and throwing the bicycle off the road.

The motorist expressed regret over his actions, citing frustration as the cause.

Oslo's city councilor for environment and transport, Marit Vea, condemned the behavior as "totally unacceptable," urging all road users to respect each other.

The police have initiated an investigation, seeking further video evidence and witnesses to the incident.
