A massive fire broke out at Norway's largest tire recycling facility in Bamble, Telemark, late Tuesday evening.
The blaze, which started in a tire shredder, quickly spread, engulfing the 36,000 square meter site filled with used tires.
Firefighters have deployed all available resources, including water and foam, to control the intense heat and thick black smoke.
The Civil Defense and other agencies are on alert due to potential pollution risks.
Residents southwest of the industrial area have been advised to keep windows closed due to the heavy smoke.
Despite the severity of the fire, no injuries have been reported, and all personnel have been accounted for.
Authorities are closely monitoring the situation, with the fire expected to last several days.
