A significant fire broke out in a residential house in Porsgrunn on the morning of August 31, 2024. Emergency services responded promptly, and by 8:41 AM, the fire was under control.
Fortunately, no one was inside the house at the time of the fire, as confirmed by the police after contacting the residents.
The cause of the fire remains unknown and is under investigation.
The fire caused substantial damage, with parts of the upper floor collapsing.
A witness inhaled smoke but was not seriously injured.
The house is currently uninhabitable due to the damage sustained.
