Fire Boats Ablaze in Oslo

A fire broke out on Wednesday afternoon on Hovedøya, Oslo, damaging four boats.

The blaze reportedly started in a sailboat stored on land and quickly spread to three neighboring vessels.

Thick smoke and open flames were visible across the city, with some smoke drifting towards Aker Brygge and Vika.

Emergency services responded swiftly, and by 5:10 PM, the fire was under control with no risk of further spread.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and no one was aboard the boats.

The cause of the fire remains unknown, and investigations are underway.
