Northern Norway is bracing for extreme weather conditions as heavy snowfall and rain are expected to hit the region.
Tromsø has already experienced its heaviest snowfall in 29 years, with 90 cm of snow recorded, leading to challenging conditions for residents.
Meanwhile, an orange weather warning has been issued for parts of Nordland, Troms, and Vest-Finnmark, predicting up to 90 mm of rain from Monday to Tuesday.
This deluge is expected to transition into slush and snow by Tuesday afternoon, potentially causing hazardous driving conditions and travel disruptions.
Authorities are urging residents to take precautionary measures and stay updated on local advisories.
