In Tromsø, Norway, the cruise ship Caribbean Princess broke free from its moorings amid severe weather conditions.
The incident occurred as strong winds, reaching up to a full storm, battered the region.
The ship, which can accommodate over 3,000 passengers, began drifting in Tromsøsundet, prompting the dispatch of a tugboat to stabilize it.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and emergency services were on standby.
The storm also caused significant damage to a sports hall under construction in Skjervøy, highlighting the severe impact of the weather across Northern Norway.
Authorities have issued warnings and advised the public to stay safe as the storm continues.
