Coop has issued a recall of its "Coop Vasket & kokkeklar" cabbage mix due to the discovery of listeria bacteria.
A total of 528 packages, marked with a best-before date of December 19, 2024, have been removed from stores.
Listeria can cause severe illness, particularly in pregnant women, newborns, and individuals with weakened immune systems.
The bacteria can survive freezing and grow at low temperatures.
Coop advises customers who purchased the product to discard it or return it to the store for a refund or replacement.
