A man in his 20s has been charged with attempted murder following a violent incident in Sarpsborg, Norway.

Early Saturday morning, police responded to reports of violence at a gathering in Greåker.

The suspect allegedly drove a car into two people after an altercation, with the vehicle nearly ending up in the Glomma River.

Six individuals were injured in the incident, and the victims were taken to the hospital.

Police are still investigating the severity of the injuries and conducting interviews.

The suspect has been assigned a defense attorney, while the victims have yet to receive legal representation.
