Three pro-Palestinian activists accused of following and shouting slogans at FrP leader Sylvi Listhaug in Oslo have been acquitted by the Oslo District Court.
The court ruled that their actions, which included chanting and filming Listhaug for seven minutes, did not constitute unlawful behavior.
The activists were charged with attempting to influence a politician and engaging in threatening conduct, but the court recognized their actions as a peaceful expression of political engagement.
Defense lawyers hailed the verdict as a victory for free speech and the right to protest.
Listhaug, who described the incident as unsettling, acknowledged the ruling but noted potential implications for political security.
The case, initiated by Norway's security police, highlighted the balance between political expression and personal safety.
